Twilight needle thoughts

Didn't really smell like anything... the smell of disinfectant was a lot more prevalent in the room, and ventilation was decent.

It did make the same popping sound you get from burning wood... a kind of popping noise... that was a pleasant surprise.

Btw, as needles go, ended up in the emergency room yesterday... a huge freaking needle was used to literally drain my toe... not a pleasant procedure. Nor was it very pleasurable having IV antibiotics pumped in.

So with regard to needles... I'd love for them to be painless, but really, I don't have a problem with remembering the pain after the fact. Only as it's happening... that I would love to be able to skip.

Edit, I notice I'm using a lot of triple dots. This is probably due to my brain being somewhat fogged up with painkillers and other stuff at the moment.

Perhaps seeing Ellipsis on the forums has subconsciously trained you to end all sentences that way...

In my case it's needless to say, needles out of my way:can:!

However, after being doped with all the fancy medicines one can achieve a nice state-of-mind.

I'd close my eyes or turn right away, when it comes to the worst. I had my vaccination against hepatitis (all types), polio and tetanus done one year ago, lasting for 10 years it's not too bad to survive a few seconds lasting "save-my-life-from-filthy-diseases torture":p.

The pain of the needles was nothing compared to what I was feeling before. Frankly it was a huge relief after the lidocaine kicked in, and that happens surprisingly quickly.

Interesting side note, while my "wound" does bleed and leak a little, it's for the most part extremely bloodless as a result of the laser cauterizing the wound. I'm really very surprised by how much I actually bled.
