Turn off chat?

Is there a way to prevent the LPFchat from being displayed? I really have no interest in using it, or seeing any of the messages in it. It also appears above the forum listing which is annoying for scrolling and other things. I'd like to permanently disable it from view. Can you add an option for that, or tell me how to turn it off?

u can click an option to minimize the chat so it folds upwards and takes up less space

there is a little button on the top right of the chat that basically makes it go away if u click it

Unfortunately, that setting is not memorized - it comes back if you reload the page.

They should put that setting in cookie or session...

I like the chat, apart from that it often snags my scrollwheel action.

i will ask teh developer if thats possible

maybe make a poll about the chat

it seems like post ppl want it in the current location, but if enough ppl think it should be moved to the bottom its not a problem
