Just doing some calculations:


XML T6: 910lm @ 3.35V 3000mA

Series Voltage needed to drive them all at 3amps: 3.35V x 12 die's = 40.2V

Power consumed at 3amps: 40.2V x 3A = 120.6W

How about this?

3x Panasonic NCR18650PD battery 2900mA

Series voltage: 12.6V
nom: 11.1V

current discharge: 10A

Total power: 126W
more realistic total power: 111
compared to ~75.5 for 3400mAh cells at nom(nomnom)
