Today. 594nm Showed Up.

I have an iPhone 5c and a 593.5, but it's only 2-9mW. I can post a picture tonight if you want :)

the one in the dark is pretty accurate

Thanks Gabe, it appears that my Spartan is indeed emitting at 593.5nm. :)

I think I have a video on my YouTube comparing the two, not sure. Please click the link in my signature.

Or here's a pic.

That's awkward, my 589nm laser looks more like the 593.5nm lasers in your pictures. It has a very distinct orangeish tint.

Here's another photo just to make things even more confusing, this IMO is an accurate rendition of my 593.5nm.
To me it looks a lot like gabes last photo.

It looks like that, not like the yellower pictures I've seen around here. Maybe I should spectro my 589nm.. wonder if it's underspec because it's actually lasing 593.5nm.

But then again pictures aren't much use to compare lasers.

That would be sweet, 37mW to 58mW of 593.5nm, you couldn't call it underspec any more! :D

Looking again at my pic above, the 589 does look too "lemon yellow". But, you can still see that there is, nonetheless a difference between them.

If anyone has a low pressure sodium lamp handy, that'll help sort the conundrum. A 589 will look an identical colour to its light whereas a 594 will look yellow orange next to it.

If all these Spartans are indeed 593.5nm(unlikely), then DragonLasers has been practically giving these away. I mean, 50mW's of "593.5" for $500? A bargain

Only in this hobby will paying $500 for a yellow light be considered a 'bargain'
