I'd give that "inspector" a big middle finger, and rip apart his paper.

"You don't own me, get a real job" etc etc..

Then you would probably get another fine, LOL. Because when you are on government land, they do own you, and I'm sure they probably make more money than you. State jobs like that are some of the highest paying jobs, with full benefits, and job security. And are usually union jobs, so you are set for life.

Like I said, we dont know the whole story either. News companies are notorious for spinning the truth into drama.

They might have gotten warned, and did it anyway. There are plenty of people out there that will do anything for their kids, even break the law. I've met plenty of these type of parents.
