Re: There's a new "kid" on the block....
Thanks for the kind words guys....
We've been working on the LaserBee II for a bit over 6 Months... and put it
up on the Website today...
@ Meatball & RA_pierce.... All parts used are Brand New Prime stock and will
always be available since we don't depend on Surplus parts that may dry up
at anytime. We manufacture our Thermopile Heads.. they are not outsourced
and we have our raw Thermopile Waffer Sensors manufactured to our specs..
The LaserBee II just like the LaserBee I and the HLPM II will always be in stock
and ship within 48 Hrs of payment..
@ DLMB... there is no conversion from the LaserBee I to make a LaserBee II.
The RED printed circuit board is electronically different to the Blue PCB in
the LaserBee I.. Some electronic components have been changed...removed
and added.. It is a totaly different animal.
We can't take tradeins and never have... I would suggest the best thing to
do is perhaps sell your LPM right here on the Forum..
@ FP... qactually... no...
we use the same MCU as the LaserBee I with new Firmware and the PC
Interface Data Logging Software we supply requires a Serial data stream...
We supply the Serial to USB converter cable C/W a driver to use your
computer's USB port.. or without the cable your computer's Serial Port.
Secondly... we use a few older PC laptops as dedicated Data Logging LPMs
and they only have an RS232 Serial Port... So if our LaserBee products
were only USB I would need to buy more expensive Laptops to do what
we're doing now for under $100.00...
@ rangedunits.... why does a Porsche cost more that your bicycle...
