I was using this (relative brightness) this (wavelength to color) and this (RGB to HEX) to try and calculate the colors, all are rounded to nearest nm and everything past 647nm is an (probably inaccurate) estimate of brightness.
wow there are a lot of different colors the only thing missing to me is a transition between 415 and 435 but maybe it is just my monitor. :drool:

I think it's your monitor BTW, I see the difference between 415 and 435 just fine.
Yeah, I can see it very well, I meant that the difference between those two seem to be the largest gap in the spectrum, maybe if there was a 420nm it would fill the gap.
I kinda had fun after I was finished with it, maybe I should learn to code :p it is just time consuming.

The "pure blue" in those calculators is considered to be 440nm, while it's actually around 460nm in real life. 445nm has a visible violet shade.

Where should the new 465nm+ diodes fall on this chart? What should we list it as?
