Assuming this host can easily house (and heatsink) two ben boost drivers, I would be in for one host, if not two(single 18650 of course).

I would also be willing to pay a premium for a "splash anno" in the quoted post, if that is possible ;)

If that anodization is too difficult (I wouldn't even know where to begin on getting that type of work done), some nice polishing would be my other choice.

Polishing can be done.. not sure about splash anno or anodizing yet !! And yes it can hold 2x ben-boosts and single 18650, should i count you in

Cool cool! Now I gotta think about what color combo to go with. 658/405 or 635/455 hmmm, decisions decisions, might have to get 4 :P haha. Keep us posted!

I think the 658/405 would be too dark, 635/455 has a brighter appeal and the colors are eye-catching esp for a laser hobbyist these are the wavelengths of a new era!!

But 405 and 658 are my favorites. 445 is nice, haven't had 635, but during the time
I had that 12X, I loved it. And I'd also love to have another LPC build. I'll probably start with 2 and get 2 more later on.

I'm going to make one of them red(dunno what nm yet) and one 405. I am going to be finishing my first build tomorrow! It is a 445@1.75A in a jayrob Maglite! Ahh I'm so stoked!
