the LEGENDARY TRAX thread

Thanks, I've been fighting with various imbed code lines for a while, probably edited that post 6 times. What did you think of the song?

It works great, thanks again.

IMHO Rush is one of Canada's greatest exports!

Some more Oingo Boingo/Danny Elfman.
I really like the nerdy sound and dannys manic persona.

Of course these guys are totally unknown to you, but the are in fact the reigning
kings of rock here in Portugal.

Xutos & Pontapes. (loosely = kicks and foot-strikes)

This is how you open a rock song.

Totally unrelated, but very classic:

YES! I've loved that song for a long time!

Here's my 3 contributions:

I rollerskated to all these songs as a kid :p Now these songs live on as obscure references.

I miss the 90s! (I wasn't around the the '60s, '70s and '80s but I do like a lot of music from then too)

Indeed, RIP.

They included this music video on the CD for the game Blood for PC in 1997. Loved the song and still love his voice.

Who else could make a hippy song sound Satanic?

Honestly I lost 20% of my hearing to the Bloody Kisses CD.

Just listened to the 1972 original, then your link, T_J. Freakin' amazing the amount of talent he had.

A long time friend of mine grew up with them, and Biohazard in Brooklyn. I saw some of Pete's artwork and it was just as dark.

He liked coke too much. He battled the addiction for a long time.

Hehe.
Ace of base, meh. "all that she wants" is only marginally better....
those DJ's, I never heard of them, and thats a good thing too.:na:
Now Skee-Lo I remember him and used to find him funny, but you gotta admit,
as a 2manyDJs mashup it's waaaaay better:

Also, from the early 90's, you might remember this kick-ass tune:

About Type O Negative:
I like their style. Vampire music but without being too corny about it.
My favourite: "my girlfriend's girlfriend".:D

OK, some more 80s new wavey goodness, Animotion and Spandau Ballet:
Campy, but plenty fun, you might know it if you played GTA:Vice City.

I think this one here just sounds plain awesome:

You Euros probably know these guys, but in the US they are hardly known. Great background music for having sex.

Zero 7

Some Moby.

Best Ozzy ballad ever.
