at SELEM the fee to attend was 50$ but as they have a huge turnout TEXLEX may cost 10$ more -That got you a swell shirt at SELEM (not a cheap T shirt) A big SpaghettiMeatball buffet- garlic toast and salad we had plenty / I am hoping to make the meals made in the kitchen at URBAN 15 cover at least two per day or maybe something like brunch and a nice diner w/o leaving the venue. Anyone wanting to fab up something at home and bring to put out speak up.I will be doing a BBQ of smoked meats for one dinner and Greg {Displaser'] is serving his Chili for another meal.

Some free lodging is open at the venue in thier 'dorm' so bring your sleeping bags.

LEMs are most likely not the greatest places for small children. There were several teenagers at SELEM and we enjoyed having them --future lasershow ops.

questions?

TEXLEM info can be found in "meets 'n greets" section at pl.

All laserists are very welcome and none will be disappointed.

Owning a projector is NOT neccess.ary.

TEXLEM will be one of the best and also least expensive to attend. At pl see .......'SELEM offical Sign-Up'. You will see the names of very many you know. PM any of them and ask if LEMs are worth attending.

LEMS are very much worth attending.
Hak talked me into going to SELEM this year and I had a blast!
I will definately be going again and I'm sure that other LEMs are just as fun. :D

Shame there is no NYC LEM:(

Definitely going to SELEM next year... was so stupid not to go this year:banghead:

^^^ he is right!!
After SELEM IV Aug 2010 I hosted a small one (STEXLEM I) in Nov.
Tiny turnout but HUGE success!!!

Do a feeler thread and hold it in a garage. Lots of laserisits up your way.

Best place to start is on PL. Best place for help is Adam (Buffo) -- he is a pro at the art of the LEM.

I was thinking of your STEXLEM when I said that, Len. :D
You said it was awesome having a very small, close group doing shows.

Shame I'm in the wrong country. This would have made a great birthday :(

For the moment I have way too much personal stuff going on to commit to organizing something like this:p

I will definitely keep it in mind for the future...

I used to work with a guy who owned a bunch of warehouses... some of them are HUGE and there are times when they are completely empty. Would make for a decent venue for a meet up maybe.

Hope to see some great photos and video! *maybe a livestream?"

Hope everyone who goes has a GREAT time!

^^^ Thanks Jeff-- hope to see you at SELEM VI.
@I.E.
Yeah, I found a nice size warehouse that was for sale or long term rent and convinced the broker to let us have it for a four day weekend@$150. Its rented ATM so the next STEXLEM may need a new venue. Barns are an option but a portacan may be needed.
I hauled my back=up home stereo to STEXLEM and we killed the amp around 1AM so a friend drove his truck inside and we saw free=style shows using his music til 3 AM.

'Any LEM with two or more attending is a good LEM'
