I'd like to share with the forum a great little laser pointer in the darker red wavelength area.
I'm fully aware of the fact, this particular laser was reviewed in a great manner by lazereer in the past, as the following link proves:
Basically this thread is just a gallery overview, besides I've promised Gary/Garoq to post a basic look at this bloody red beamer.
As many others who happened to come in contact with survivallaser.com, their laser portfolio offers some affordable and attractive laser pointers easy enough to be assembled and used straight away afterwards.
The link with all necessary information:
My unit outputs well over 300mW, can't complain much about the visibility and output performance
.
Without writing too much, I'll let the pictures do the talking
.
I've used a custom focus ring instead of the original one. I know I should've gone for the double focus ring from SL:tinfoil:, eventually for easier focus operation.
The orange o-rings from Pman found the right place to be fitted on
.
Must be used with the 18650 red AW red battery, indeed! Looks orangish due to light exposure:shhh:.
Beam sort of visible even at minimal exposure time.
Hell fire!
Let's do it the (nearly) proper way
.
Red dwarf.
