Thanks for all the feedback/opinions on this so far guys. All input is welcome. I do realize a lot of this is up to interpretation.
The laser was noticed in this condition within the first day of getting the laser(around 2 to 3 weeks ago) I just didn't know the real cause of it until recently. The concern that the stuff on the window combined with a loose window might be an issue was not until recently. It was never dropped and it was kept in a felt type cloth to keep the host from getting scratched and such after I got it. I take good care of my lasers.
When I first got the laser I noticed that the big artifacts were in the laser beam output. As I tried to focus the laser the stuff in the output would move so I was not concerned with it and assumed it was the focus adapter lense so I was not concerned with it. I notified the seller about the big artifact in the beam output within a few days of getting it just to make sure and was going to send pics but after reading on the forum I thought that artifacts in the output is not a big deal. I didn't realize the moving of the artifacts was something to be concerned about. Just yesterday the laser was opened (focus adapter taken off) to see the raw diode output and then it was obvious that the problem was the diode window being loose that caused the artifacts to move and not the focus adapter lens.
I am just trying to determine if the laser is good to use as is for hobby use or if it is a bad diode to use in it's current condition because it's life will be reduced.
Again. The laser works just fine right now. It burns very fast and when the beam is focused to a point you of course can not tell any issues with the laser. The beam doesn't change it's outer shape, get distorted, or anything like that. If you never unfocus the adapter to see the big image you would not know anything was different from my previous laser I owned without the big artifact.
