Newby here again! Just wondering can I store the drivers like this or will I have to be a bit more careful? Individually wrapped or like the picture, also same question for diode storage also. Don't worry they're all gutted from the €2 pointers I have.... Thanks dudes

I keep my drivers the same way you do, in one of those compartment boxes. I'd be careful with the lenses though, I usually purchase a 100pack or those tiny ziplock(?) bags from eBay and store them in there (those tiny bags can be super useful for other things too you'd be surprised), and then in the compartment box. For diodes though you'd have to be a lot more careful as they are tiny and fragile. Not sure how to store them properly, I always buy them in a module.

I actually have a load of them pinch seal bags here actually. Throw them all in together or separately for the diodes?

Hi Massie,
All my drivers and diodes are in separate ESD bags as they come shipped from the manufacturer . Being all together like that a can't see any good coming out of it. These are very sensitive pieces of electronics . I do the ESD protocol all the time all it takes is a little spark to ruin a great build and you won't even know it happened.

Rich:)

I concure with rich... bulk esd bags of all sizes are super cheap from various places like a and e type zons and bays

Yeah I suppose, you're dead right. Just me being lazy I guess. Thanks for your advice
