Star Trek TOS Phaser's Laser Modded For Sale..

Yep, that silver circle is a momentary switch.
This board and all the Rubies toy phaser boards has a recorded phaser sound matching the style of phaser weapon which is the norm.
How does that work as in these cheap toy boards.
What is under the round blob of black epoxy?

Yes I am that stupid:whistle:

Your photos of this board are out of focus for me. Tactile switches can be a problem if they aren't rated high enough. If you can provide better photos, I may be able to help.

There is a chip under the black blob, it holds the digitized sounds..... they use the same thing in those birthday cards that sing when you open them.
The silver disc on this one is the battery, the switch it the tab at the bottom that pulls when the card is opened.

Thanks PauI I know, I use a cheaper flip phone plus I have a essential tremor that doesn't help.
I will use my friends phone, she has a bigger touch screen phone that i'm certain will take better pics.

I'm still only using the cheap foil tactile switch for the sound only, i'm using a 2A limit switch for the laser.

Just posting from boredom. Looks like its just a voltage board?
There are some untouched solder pads. Is it a generic piece.
