Hi to all.
The problem: I have an host with a long focal lens for the c-mount red diode.
With this configuration, I cannot obtain a tiny dot near the aperture, but a big line.
I wish to use a modified beam expander like the one that I have modified and adapted for my Frankenstein host, but the input beam must be no more than 2 mm diameter, while the line generated is more than 3 mm.
The solution: turn away the beam expander from the aperture, just enough to have a short line as input in the first lens.
What I need: a 50 cm light tube that will connect the host to the beam expander. That tube must have two slightly different diameters. A good idea could be a tube inside another tube, like a telescopic antenna, so I can fine tuning the correct distance between diode and beam expander.
The tube will be safety locked thru three nylon screws that already I have .. . I need only three threaded holes .
I know that there are some nice guys that create very beautiful hosts, but I do not know if they are disposable to do a similar build.
Anyone can help me?
Richard.
