It's only been a few days but I've missed you all already. :yh:

My brother inlaw started to get the migraines about 10 years ago and no matter what hardcore pain med he tried nothing seemed to work. Finally what helped was a oxygen mask at night.
RB hope these next few day's it will pass The worst part is iv'e heard you can't even see when one comes on, so how are you going to see those beautiful WL's

Yep, that's right Pete, when ever I've been hospitalised they put me on oxygen straight away.
Also as you say, once it takes hold almost no pain relief can really help and in fact can make things worse later.
About 15 years ago I was seeing Australia's top neurosurgeon and he was opposed to prescribing any opiate based med for migraine.
Now they've developed a tablet that can circumvent the onset of migraine if you catch it before it takes hold, it's not a pain killer and non addictive but you must take one tab when you feel it coming on and there's not much time.
Very effective though.

Migraines? Ooooch! Had them as a kid and there no joke! Best wishes and prayers for you.
