Well people there's nothing to see in this thread yet...

as of late this forum has been very quiet in term of people show off their unique build.

Active host builder like Ehgemus,Sinner has been MIA for a long time.

Our sole Laser Driver Provider, aka the X-drive creator Lazeerer has gone for good.

Even heat sink vendor like Eudaimonium and Flaminpyro has gone quiet.

As portable lasers are being ban and company no longer ship to the U.S many new member's will be force to build their own devices.

Is your passion for building burning out because driver dried up? that unique one of a kind host no longer pop up or company no longer ship those dpss pointers to U.S?

well that is the reason why i'm here. I am here with one goal in mind. Re-ignite our inner Builder Passion, in order to do this i'll be taking up the 'former' crown.

i'll give you all what you've wanted for a long time. replenish the driver pool, provide members with affordable and high quality custom host.

all of the above is Advertising.

i'm making myself a website as well.

i'll be offering custom Drivers, custom Host, and rare diodes,pointers,...

-Custom driver .
-Custom host for our passionate builder.
-rare diodes for the researcher and the collector.
-and make a huge chunk of profit!!

*i'll take Paypal,Visa,Mastercard,Amex,Apple pay,Samsung Pay and for the first time ever M0bile payment via Premium TexT.
*stocking up 5 of everything.
*going to become lpf sponsor.

Stay tuned.... picture is coming.

People will probably be a bit more willing to believe if you can show some proof that you're able to do all of these things you're offering.

1. Rare diodes aren't as easy to come by as you might think. Kinda why they are called rare. Unless you have a special connection I doubt you have an easy time getting any.

2. Custom hosts by themselves take a good bit of time to make and aren't exactly easy either.

3. I really hope that you can make a stable and efficient driver:)

If you actually are able to do this then I'm sure you'll be getting lots of business, but just make sure not to try and do it all at once. Get there bit by bit maybe and hopefully it works out:D

I'm taking this opportunity to make big buck as of now i won't have any competitor in the host and driver market.

You said multiple times that you're looking to make a large profit from all of this. Talk to anyone here who has
made drivers or hosts for any length of time and they will tell you that there is very little profit involved.

LPF could obviously benefit from more host builders since Ehgemus and Sinner are sorely missed.
But when it comes to drivers that's a different story, you need the technical data to prove that your
drivers are suitable to use, along with additional tests done by other members to confirm your testing.

The proof is in the pudding, I look forward to what you come up with.

those came out wrong. it was suppose to be a joke... i removed it to avoid future conflicts.

what i meant to say is since other most likely won't be coming back DTR is pretty much the only guy keeping people building passion alive.( if DTR ever back out it would most likely be the end of this community).

i'm currently getting 10 host and 10 driver ready.

by rare diode i meant to say stocking diodes that DTR doesn't stock. like the 2 Watts 635nm and the 1.5W 405nm, 415nm-425nm diodes and so forth. i won't be stocking the 4 figures diode however i can get them upon request.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Let's see what you can make tomfire? I have been testing quite a few drivers that I have made, still haven't found the right circuit to put out to public yet but I have used them in a few private builds already. Maybe soon I will open source my driver.. I hope you do not have a day job, all the stuff you listed will take alot of your time.

I just do small things on the side, and I have enough to keep me busy for weeks right now, and I have a full time job as well!!!!

Hi,
wishing you all the luck in your endeavor, that would be great if you can pull it off. We have DTR and he sells the famous Lazeerer drivers if you can come even close to producing such a fine driver like those you will have a good chance .
just a little less boasting and keep the horse in the barn a little longer your still a colt.. Cant wait to see your products awesome..

Rich:)

I don't see a crisis.

Flaminpyro still takes orders, just doesn't post. Lifetime17 makes great heatsinks. I make laser hosts and can confirm that it's more of an enjoyable experience rather than... "huge chunk of profit". With all the machinery involved you won't be making a large profit margin, hardly any at all unless you have a large enough audience and a mass production. 5k+ dollars worth of tools and machinery (way more for higher quality machines) and selling at say 120 dollars a pop will take you a long time just to make that back, yet alone an actual profit margin. BUT, if you already have the equipment you can go to town and make enough to give you dinner and a drink without taking from your paycheck :p

About drivers, DTR and flaminpyro are the main vendors. Couldn't say enough good things about either of those two guys. X-Woossee and another member from viet nam are also popping up. Drivers aren't really that scarce, I could buy one right now if I needed to.

Anyway, I'm forced to disagree with your statement. There's no crisis going on right now. What I'm supportive of however, is your plans. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I and all the others on this forum would love to see more hardware in circulation, the more the marrier. :D

Good luck with this (you're gonna need it). I'm looking forward to your store, specially the rare diodes.

Hello tom.

Just posting here because you haven't responded to PMs or e-mail.
I purchased something from you and you never got me the tracking number. Can you please explain to me what is going on?

He very well may be legit, but for myself, I am very weary of sending money to members unless PayPal, even then I have to get a warm and fuzzy there won't be problems due to past performance. It is just too easy for someone to hijack and inactive members account here because people won't use unique enough passwords and the BB software does not force us to do so either.
