Interesting - how much does one have to invest to find a second hand thermopile-based LPM?
Another odd question - is it black BBQ paint that they (TEC LPMs) use on the TECs as a "special coating" ? Serious question. I happaned to have been working with black BBQ heat resistant paint a few weeks ago, and the finish, appearance, etc, is absolutely identical, at least visually.
