Mine arrived today. To the naked eye (in daylight), the beam didn't seem much brighter than my 200mW 445...until I put it on the LPM. I can't wait for it to get dark!

I bet 2W would do a lot of damage. I had like a 1.8W laser that couldnt burn thtough cardboard, like a pizza box. I think the guy lied, i heard his were like 1.2 so when i buy im geting over 1.5 for sure

A 1.2Watt laser still does serious damage. If it doesn't pinch the pizza cardboard I would say the laser is defect or about 100mW output.

It took like 30 seconds to burn a hole in it.

I wonder how powerful it really was.

Wouldn't it be funny if there were a whole series of tests one could do using household items to determine the strength of a laser at a given frequency?

For example:

Burning a hole in a pizza box using 445nm from 1 meter:
3 seconds = 2000mw
8 seconds = 1000mw
30 seconds = 100mw
etc, etc.

I have made a batch of C6 lasers.
The diode is the M140 445nm. The heatsinks are black anodized aluminium.
The lens is 445nm 3-element glass with a standard focus ring except for the 2+ Watt version which has a G1 lens in the upgraded lensbarrel.

The driver is a buck driver set at 1.7A. It has better efficiency than a linear driver. The main regulator is heatsinked for durable working.
Each laser has a lenscap and a hand straps.

The pricing is :
1+Watt --> $100
1.3+Watt --> $120
2+Watt --> $190, this laser has a G2 lens.

Shipping World Wide is $15.
Tracking is $5 extra. You get a tracking code so that the package never gets lost.

Batteries, chargers and laser goggles are available at extra cost.

I purchased one of these and they are great!.

Blord has been very patient answering all my questions, so for those looking for 1W 445's i absolutely recommend these over any chinese sellers... nothing beats the quality of customs builds!, thanks Blord!. +1:beer:

The only bad thing is it took a whole month (literally) from Jan-31st to Feb-28th however that was because the postal service in my country is SNAIL-SLOW, but oh well it was worth it! .

Soon i will post a brief review along with other couple blue lasers... but here is a quick pic i took in a full daylight lit room! :

You mean first post ? I don't really remember that. Any of the three lasers can do the burning.
