*SOLD* FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

It's not the die. It's likely the LBO crystal. I've started to at least keep my 589s with dessicant/silica gel. Don't know if it's helping or not, in the long run.

Are 589's the only ones you've noticed this with? Seeing as you seem to have the most extensive wl collection

Lase

Edit: Sorry for the thread jack.

Yeah. So far. Even 594's seem to be rock solid long term. This is just a theory so far. So, you know, grain of salt...

Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

Anybody else interested in the 473 or 532? Best offer on the 532 (forget the $300 USD original asking price), looking for $800 USD + shipping for the 473.

473 offer has been reset. The person who originally offered $670 for it can't afford it anymore after Black Friday. Anyone else interested in it?

Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

Im so tempted! Ahh I wont be able find a 473nm for this price again :(...

Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

If you can offer more, I can hold on to the laser for a couple more days. I would really like to get more than $500 for this, given it's worth quite a bit more than that.

If anyone is interested in seeing the inside of the 589, here you go :)

Very cool. :D I see a bit of light in the second picture. Is that from an external source, or does something in there still work?

As far as I can tell, the IR diode works A-OK. It's lasing. It seems to be pushing lased IR output all the way through that module.

Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

Okay, 473 sold pending confirmation and payment.

Re: FS: CNI PGL-III-C 473, 532, and 589

473 is sold. Just the 532 left now. Is no one interested in it?

If it gets to this stage, I would buy it just to have the host / parts.

But certainly if you have an offer from someone who can fix it, go for that.

Cheers

That might just end up being what happens. I'm selling my Polarion X1 now too on CPF Marketplace (sales link if anyone's interested), which should cover the rest of the monitors, so whatever I can get for it for parts or for use is good for me.
