Re: 638nm New build - 820mw - $180 shipped US only (non-us = $190)

Price drop $180 shipped US ONLY... ($190 shipped outside US)

I think that peoeple aren't interested, because you can build your own 800mW+ 638 for a little over 100$. There seems to be less and less of a market for fully built lasers on the forums :(

Yes this maybe true in the US ,land of many built lasers but live in Australia and i think you will find that's not true ..i would pay that money in a split second if i knew the Laser would escape customs ...Members in US talk about customs but not in same league as Australian customs im tired of getting my lasers grabbed ...if any body wants to make money have a depot of lasers in Australia set up a business like joker 301 they would sell like ice cream on a 110 degree day.I have a good collection but ive paid a lot of money far more than normal to get them.

Re: 638nm New build - 820mw - $180 shipped US only (non-us = $190)

yeah people have the misconception that building lasers is cheap. My 3W MagLite cost over $300 to BUILD! Lasers are not cheap to buy nor are they to build. There is limited places to buy drivers, so that once $10 driver from Matt is now $30+ from other sources. Clif and Matt shit down in the same month and KILLED all of the good laser part prices. Jordan is the only place for diodes and luckily he is priced well :D

This laser is priced well and is a custom build.......you prob could build a cheaper, bare bones 638nm for cheaper but its not as nice as this one

EDIT: and please explain how you can build this for $100.....the diode and G2 alone are $99 shipped

The laser is sold and if he wants to mention who he is he can. Thank You

That unique steel host and focus adapter combo reminds me of the Saturn V!
