Oh yeah it is, I did put it up against my 90mw 532nm and it did show a better beam than the 532nm

figured it would , how does the dot look in person ? is it nice and round or does it have a odd shape like blue?

If you look at the dot in this other members link it looks like a line with a little thicker line in the middle rectangular. hard to take with a camera especially mine, it doesn't look this but with the naked eye it looks real fine :beer:

its a shame how long great builds are sitting for sale here lately! Come on people, recognize a great build when you see one and buy it!

SixTee9, I must say this build truly reflects all the hard laser work & effort you've put into it:gj:
To speak for myself, since I already own 2 superb 638nm builds from other 2 great forum builders, I couldn't buy it. But how the hell is possible that no one else is interested in it, not to mention the really affordable price, is simply beyond me:thinking:

Just stay patient, man. And eventually some good member will finally grab this!

Okay I was doing research, with the same driver & diode other people were hitting 800mW and I was wondering why I wasn't on this. So I checked my lithium batteries in the LPM and change them on the meter and I am now reading the correct milliwatt here's a video and a pic and it is put back to $220 shipped for laser battery and charger if anybody is interested.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who are interested in a 635-638nm laser... I definitely am, it'd be my first in that range. The issue seems to be, me included, that no one can afford the laser... :yabbem: if I could afford it I would snatch it up instantly... but...

Woo-Hoo I just got finished building a 638nm into a C8 host doing 1.3w and running @ 1.4a... BEAST!!!
