Firstly, up for sale is 4A selectable test load. This test load has jumpers which allows you to choose between 1-10 diodes to stimulate various voltage dropout (Vf) of laser diode. Also, there is a resistor which will discharge the capacitor on the driver.


Some of you might be wondering, what is the use of a test load. Test load is used to test a diode driver for proper current output and waveform before being attached to laser diode. This prevents too much undesirable amount of current from reaching the laser diode and reduce the chance of you damaging or killing your laser diode.

For chosing the number of diodes, refer to this datasheet

1-> I will be including free aligator clips which can be used for the testload

Seriously. Give other threads a chance. And you think that maybe after 20 bumps, you would realize no one needs a test load currently?

If you want to wait for the slow host from china, get some 532 modules from fasttech. They are 5$ a piece and are exactly the same as every other 532 module out there (regardless of what power they are labeled as)
