Gotta love the coleman.

Those pens looks amazing btw. I love seeing what you can do with a buffing wheel. I can't justify doing it myself though, i can either polish one host or make 20 heat sinks.....hhmmm....

I'm sure a lot people don't realize the man hours that go into polishing each of these hosts that your selling at an amazing price.

Money sent for last 405. Now time to buy a charger and some spare batteries, this is my first 10440.

Will they work in other laser pens as a substitute for the AAA batteries?

(lol dumb question as it'd be over double the power supply)... what else do these batteries work in besides cameras?

@hoon -

Yes but only if you use a spacer. You can't use two 10440's instead of two AAA's because you will be supplying ~7.4v. Most drivers made for AAA's can't handle that kind of input.

A spacer, are those custom made or purchased?

I've been going through a lot of batteries in some flashlights and in my pointers which is why i asked. Most of my good lasers are rcr123, which is nice because so is my streamlight, but I either have to buy some 1.2V rechargeables or figure something else out for all the rest.

Solder wire would work, just make sure to wrap it in some electrical tape..

So anyone that had asked after that if was still available iam sorry but hoon was the first to ask me.

Its alot of work to do one of these pens. But i might do 1 or 2 more. If i do ill bump this thread if its any time soon.:)

hoon@ The 10440 cells that i will send with the pen can work with other lasers. However you need to make user that those pens take 2x 10440 cells.

Also If a laser takes 2x AAA 1.5v cells and you want to use just 1x 10440 cell it is still not possible to do as the voltage will still be too high.!!! Unless you know what the driver is and what it can handle please only use these cells with the laser or in other 10440 laser.

I would not be responsible if anything happens to your other lasers if you decide to use them in lasers that are not meant to take 10440 cells.

Just use the recommended batteries that that laser is rated at.

That's true, two AAA's would provide 3v, where a 10440... 3.7v.

Must break this lousy habit of making assumptions:o
