This is a 2,150mW Guidesman Build. It uses the more rare shiny silver / chrome / stainless steel appearance body (I'm sure it's still aluminum!). It has a fairly decent sized heatsink. You're fine to get 2 minute duty cycles, even at this high output.
Anyway, this guy has a Mosquito-style 1085 based driver, with a copper shim added to the IC to make sure that you can actually get the full duty cycle out of the build without any IC heat issues. It runs on 2x 18350 or 2x 16350 cells. I tested it using AW IMR 18350 cells (highly recommended fantastic cells). Batteries never included with sale (shipping restrictions). Includes a G1 lens.
One interesting note - I'm not "crazy overdriving" this diode. In fact, it's not even being pushed to 1.8A. I think the final current of the assembled driver is about 1,760 mA. So it's a fairly efficient diode!
Price is $300 + shipping.
Shipping will ONLY be via fully insured trackable methods. $20 for North America, more for the rest of the world (contact me first).
