Hey Folks,
Just read an article regarding a new record for smallest micro-laser. It's 30 micrometers long, which is actually smaller than the wavelength of light it produces. (200 micrometers) This is a big deal in the development of electro-optical processor chips. And as usual, there's lasing involved.
