Hey guys,

I remembered I had Minecraft just today and I thought of an idea. I wanted to show new members/newcomers to the world of lasers the different wavelengths that exist using the virtual game of Minecraft. I know this may sound strange but since im ADHD I tend to have a creative side which makes most of my ideas weird.

If you enjoyed the video please let me know
I think this may be a first and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did

Edit: I also promoted LPF for any person who is looking for a laser community

Video:

2nd Video(Laser being LPM'ed)

Oops, just realized there was French music playing :p

Here - take the vid URL

h t t p : / / w w w.youtube.com/watch?v=YFSC4ZqTJnw&sns=em

Delete everything BEFORE the equals sign... So all your left with is the end "YFSC4ZqTJnw&sns=em"

Then add [ y t ] before (without spaces) and [ / y t ] after and it should be embedded.

Thanks supermario :)

I edited the post and it seems to be working. +1 to you.

Edit: Music has been added to the video :)
Edit #2: Please tell me if you would like to see more Minecraft related videos. I have plenty more ideas but don't know if it is appropriate to just post new threads.

Rofl. Leave it to you, Greenlander, to come up with this. Perhaps you should have uses glass blocks, as the "invisible" beams.

Good video though, I liked it.

Thanks Cody! I was also thinking about that haha

Lucky for me these are only 1mW lasers

Can't help but ask, were you wearing safety glasses in this video? It's bad enough you were walking in front of the beams! With beams that huge, you could've been incinerated!

My skin is better. :na:

+rep for the Minecraft style. I used to be a mod on Reddit Creative back in the Beta 1.7 days. One of the best
games ever made

Thanks Lightning :)

I really appreciate it.

Edit: I also had a very horrifying experience today.

I was starting my first class while talking to a friend and all of a sudden my stomach started hurting...I was thinking this is strange and I went to the bathroom. I immediately somehow lost my vision(I could see but all was grainy and blurry) and I couldn't stand.

I then proceeded to go to the gym since the class moved out there and I fell to the floor. One girl told my I was sweating and my lips were pale :( I was horrified.

I do not know what can cause this but one student in my psychology class suggested I get more sleep since I only slept 1 hour last night. I did remind her I slept 11 hours the night before but she still insisted I do when I return home.

I don't know if any of you guys have suggestions, if you do they are more then welcomed.

If it happens again, see a doctor. If it's serious, go to the E.R. I don't know what it is, but I have had a lot
of experience with the medical and it sounds like something they should take a look at. I do know bowel
problems can cause fainting and other things that are not obvious.

How long did all this last? How long was vision blurry? I used to feel like crap in school a lot
