Sharp GH04W10A2GC 350mW 405nm

Who are you? I haven't been trolled in some time. You must have been here before under a different user name. I have built many dozens of lasers of all wavelengths and powers and have been a member in good standing here for well over five years. You signed up today. I would not be surprised to find you banned from here by the end of the day.
 





Miya what is the runtime duration and the cool down duration? At 620mA I can run my diode for over 10 minutes. I have been doing this for over 7 months now. It is a great wood burner and insect zapper.
 
I have one violet laser GH04W10A2GC diode 1amp . I can run my diode for max 10 sec because pen build
It is alive for 5 months !!!. so i want 1.4Amp set next time :D
 
i don't want BDR209 anymore.. However, quality is liked.
How much Max have you set the current for the Sharp diode?
And can you tell me how long the diode been alive?
i need advice before set 1.4Amp current for GH04w10A2GC
 
I ran th sharp diode at 1100mA for about 30-60seconds ( over 3 days) before it led'd on me. I used a 20mm DTR module in a survival s3 host.
 
what fun is a thang if you can only use it for 10 seconds? If you want real output with long runtimes, then I suggest a NUBM44 or at the least a 5 Watt 450 Diode.
 
i love violet color. so 1.4Amp is very danger. Thank you for your advice.
but It's worth a challenge.
 
I would say your best bet is to place the diode in a solid piec of copper, like the one used in a pentium processor heat sink with a fan and a TEC . I have had a 14W 808 stack that worked very stable using this method . I think the violet mm diode could be run pretty high with stability. I was considering this approach, but alas-The tiredness got me.
 
Finally Lasertack has sent me 8 of their new mirror prisms designed especially for 390-440nm region.
So I can continue with KE of 4 of these LDs (the picture was in post 55 of this thread).
I am planning to put this set on ice box to keep diodes at rt.
 
if you buy the diode in the projector from J.T., the diode is place in the projector by the manufacturer so that the + will be on your rt and the neg will be on your left. If it is just the diode , then follow DTR's example.
 
Ah so these are totally different diodes than the gb hakzaw did with those modules a few years back
