I’m planning to sell 2 of my lasers. The first is a Wicked Lasers Spyder II BX 473nm blue laser. The housing is in good shape. The lens doesn’t have any major scratches. The indicator light on the side of the laser does not function. The laser itself can be a bit tricky to turn on. It seems like the end cap needs to be turned tightly (not so tight that you break anything) in order to get the laser to turn on and off. Maybe someone brave enough to open up the laser can fix this issue. When turned on, it works well given how old it is and the capability of these 473nm DPSS lasers that were built around 2007. My Laserbee A LPM says it’s putting out roughly 2-11mw, often sitting around 6mw. Definitely a very rare laser nowadays. Included is an 18650 battery. Asking $450 or best offer.

The second laser is a Wicked Lasers Spyder III Arctic 1W 445nm blue laser. The laser is in great shape with barely any blemishes. However, it has a similar issue where it only seems to turn on if the end cap is tightened to a certain point, and when it is on, it turns off in high power mode. It could be an issue with the connection inside, I’m not sure. Included is an 18650 battery, the original box (in rough shape), and 7 additional special lens. Asking for $370 or best offer.

Both lasers are being sold in the condition mentioned above. Please see photos. I can sell the lasers via a PayPal sale of goods, or via eBay for an additional fee. Please don’t hesitate to send me any questions you may have. Looking to keep shipping limited to the United States. Prices listed above do not include shipping. Thanks!

I wish you luck but I'm a bit skeptical of your pricing. A 1W 445 can be had for under $50 from many vendors. The 473 is more intriguing but again, I think only a collector would pay that much for that laser.

What he said above ^^^ + eBay is a good place to post them for sale---they get crazy prices for Wicked Lasers stuff there

From the photos it appears that the 473 tail cap threads could use a good cleaning with CAIG DeoxIT or other contact cleaner--even salt and white vinegar---good idea to clean the corresponding battery tube threads as well - might resolve the issue--- oxides build up on Al threads over the years.

DeoxIT for the win!

Thank you all for the feedback. I was really unsure what to ask for these, and relied heavily on the data on eBay to determine these prices. I’m always open to offers! I will try throwing these on eBay too, thanks!

Hey XM! After reviewing the end cap pics of the Arctic, it is my thought that there is a little corrosion going on. I had the same problem myself. I contacted WL service dept.. After sending them a requested pic of the cap, They sent me a new one. In the mean time, I had cleaned up the corrosion. I used some aluminum polish.

That’s what I thought this probably was. I’ll see what I can do to fix it while I wait and see if I get any bites on eBay. Thanks!

Thats a very good idea. Once the contacts are clean it should work fine. Oh, don't forget to look at the disconnect pin. It may be corroded also. If you sell it on fleabay, don,t mention that it has been cleaned by you. Good luck!

While I'm interested in getting a handheld 473, at 6mW this is better off valued by someone as a collectors piece. Also... is that arctic one of the first batch before their mode switch/lock was added? (Opposite side or the battery indicator)

Good luck with the sale!

Old thread but I figured I’d give it a chance. Do you still have any of your Wicked Lasers from your old YouTube videos?
