Selling my powerful 445 Maglite build! $250

It could be an efficient diode but you can not make any power claims without an LPM. Simply state it is being driven at 1.7A and say that it should be putting out 1.7W with a aixiz 3 element glass and should be putting out 1.9W with a g-1. But without a LPM, you have no idea what it's really putting out. For all you know it could be doing 2.5W, or 1.5W.

I am going to send it to you. I will update it when I send it to you and after rocket exchanges my diode because its raw output has a section missing from the rectangle. It's hard to explain, but the diode is defective.

Sorry to hear that. That's a bummer when that happens. I'm glad you are taking the appropriate path and getting it tested. Sorry if I jumped to conclusions too soon. I'll edit my post.

No, he's talking about what his driver was set too... Just because its at 1.7A doesn't mean his laser is 1.7W. You need to go do some learning before you continue to jump into peoples post and belittle them.

I'm confused. How was that belittling?

It's pretty obvious.. He tried to tell the OP he was wrong, tried to correct him. In a rude matter. Then "lol" like he was an idiot noob for making that mistake. I'm obviously not the only one who thought that either.

I understand. I don't want to start and argument, so let's leave it at that.
