Sell me a laser diode driver(+LD if possible)

Hey, I have a big soldering iron too, and it has a fat chisel tip! I could still solder wires to a surface-mount 7404 chip (14 pin) even though the tip was as wide as the chip itself!
However, the chip refused to work anymore after I soldered it   :

well you definately want ot get a better one for soldering the diode if you ordered one!, these things will die on you VERY easily! and not being able to solder the pins properly is going to result in disaster!
just a suggestion!
