That 495 I think was around 60$, only 30 for a driver and host is good.

Man that 490 is a tempting deal. If I didn't have a few of them lined up to be built in the next few weeks, I'd be all over it. Seeing these new 488-490nm lasers day after day is tearing me apart

I have a 490nm diode and a 405nm diode left, I will build and sell them, thank you for your interest, I will update the image when I am finished building

Are you using a linear driver for your builds, Trinh? I looked at the OP again and see they all take two Li-ion batteries. Are you using the smd LM317? Seems like you said you have used that before.

i used bruck ax2002 driver from suvival, and just replace r2,I will update the dpetail image on my latest build, I think lm317 is not nice in these constructs, because these diodes are not cheap and can die for many reasons, and I wouldn't venture

now the wait begins what beam expander do you recommend that works with this body? i want to use it to draw a line on the wall for example.
