Too funny Pete.

Yeah, I don't get the new forum for this. What are we supposed to do with it? "Did 10 reps of 100 sit ups today!"

I think Avery is just announcing that there's a whole different forum to visit and sign up to if anyone's interested.
It's got nothing to do with LPF from what I gather.

RB ripped six pack...
:)

Hi Guys,

Working on fixing this now. today was an ab day lol. @RB, yeah abdomination is separate forum from LPF but figured I would link to it here in case anyone on LPF also shares common interest of ab fitness.

Best regards,
-ave

Is it working now? Seems fine in Chrome and on my iPhone. please test and let me know. I also removed a few ads on main layout which don't appear to reliably be showing laser-relevant ads (not sure why it's so hard for ad network to show relevant ads, maybe laser market just not good now)

I might take a look at it, started getting back into fitness and healthy eating after a bit of a hiatus.

Doesn't work for me on Firefox Quantum, 57.0.2 (64-bit). Just sends me to the top of the page and sets the URL to "https://laserpointerforums.com/?q=laser%20test".

The code I'm using is fresh from Google; I can also confirm it doesn't work in Firefox or IE. Let me try making it so search results open in new browser window and see if that works in all 3 browsers.

It's now working for me in Firefox, Chrome, and iPhone. Internet Explorer still fails - may be no workaround for IE.

I use it, too. Though mostly I am on Chrome.

I use Edge now and then, seeing as it's the default PDF reader on Windows 10. Edge isn't too bad, still not as good as Chrome or Firefox Quantum.

I only ever use I.E. for accessing management interfaces on some network appliances. The interfaces on older appliances don't play so well with modern browsers for various reasons.

Seems on the latest build of firefox quantum, hitting enter in the search bar tries to bring up a popup window which gets blocked. Clicking the box that says "search", opens a new tab with the exact same results as putting "site:laserpointerforums.com (query here)" into google. What in the world did google go changing things for? I miss the in-page results.

Same result here on FF Quantum. In-page results were far better.
