Sanwu lasers

The challenger has a bar shaped beam, it's a very smooth host but I had to adjust the lens because it got threaded slightly out of focus. It's much brighter than the 650-250, it only burns stuff when focused except it could probably do stuff like pop a balloon when unfocused.
When focused it can set black paper on fire and light would matches the hard way. Amazing in fog, it looks like a fiery bar. Beam has the wings obviously. :D
I'm very happy with it although somehow the module stopped working but sanwu is sending another module, they have great customer service.
Remember that standard goggles don't work and you need the specific blue colored goggles from survival laser!!!

Thanks Crazlaser for the info on you 635nm Challenger. My 650nm 250mw Pocket Series looks fantastic on a foggy night, like a continuous bar of red neon light. I love red lasers, it's the retro-feel to them. Very 1970's. My favourite wavelengths I think, although the 445nm is otherworldly.

Sanwu do have amazing customer service, mine got bumped in shipping and the beam was crooked, the lens needed realignment, so just chatted with Francis and he kindly accepted it back and then fixed it, put it back in the post again and it was back in my hands within 3-4 weeks. Pretty amazing for halfway around the world. Good to know that if I drop a laser or damage one in due course that I can just post it to them and they'd repair it (for a fee) and post it back.

I'm saving my money for the 635nm 1 Watt Challenger II.

Yeah, blue goggles.... I'll get a pair when I order the 635nm!

Thanks for your feedback - helps! :)

I took some fantastic beam shots of my 445nm spiker last night at my girlfriend's over a smoldering fire pit in the dark. I will try to get them uploaded later. might not be a good idea at work :D I'll wait till I get home :san:

Hi Jhop, I look forward to seeing some of those. I'm working on some beam shots with my 445nm 3watt Silver Series, I'll post my pictures likewise... :)
