Hi I'm new here and I just had a few questions for anyone who has recently bought a sanwu laser (or podo) and had it shipped to Canada. I've got my eye on the sanwu pocket 445nm 500mW, but wanted to know if anyone has had any success getting them into Canada.

Don't know about getting them into Canada but they get into the States all the time. Got quite a few of them. If you chose Sanwu you won't be sorry. Are the regulations tighter in Canada?-----edit, talk to Sanwu I pretty sure if they get stopped Sanwu will resend .

I know Canadians have had problems getting WL lasers in the country, but I don't know about Sanwu.

Sanwu should be no problem, because they label the package as a "Stainless steel host" not a "laser" Wicked laser's dumbasses mark theirs as a laser, and usually ship batteries with it, so it gets flagged in customs every time. Thats why they won't ship to the US. So you should be fine. Sanwu is one of the few chinese companies that use common sense :san:
Oh and pick you self up a efest 10440 unprotected battery for the pocket, best battery you can get and is cheap

Yep, haven't had a problem at all. The pocket series came in one piece but Podo shipped the battery bay and laser module separate for the silver series. As long as you don't have the battery included you'll be fine.
