Hello all in the forum, ime a life long laser hobbyist & builder/collector.
I was wondering if any one has experience with Sanwu in the last few weeks. Ive ordered a 1 watt red with beam expander on the 21st of May.
I had to chase them up as i had no contact from them as to progress or dispatch,
they got back to me via facebook & told me it will be dispatched the Wednesday just gone.
Ive had no email notification or notification in my sanwu account that anything has happened be that dispatch or delays or a tracking number.
Even Ebay sellars have better communication than this. Does any one know if they are having problems ?:thinking:
 





Thats good to hear, ive seen nothing but good things about them on the net & they are on the other side of the world to me here in the UK, so ime being patient. Ime just a bit miffed about not knowing whats going on, i dont mind a long wait just so long it get here safe
 
China to UK shipping can take a veerrrry long time to arrive sometimes. Sanwu is a great company and it would be rare for a problem to pop up.
From another fellow Brit, be patient. :)
 
Yes i order a lot from over seas, ive had to wait well over a month in some cases when getting things from Korea & Japan.
I cant even log onto my user account with Sanwu, ive tried everything from clearing my browser cache to double checking & re-typing everything. The log on page just simply does not do anything when i click the log on button.
So i am finding this more than a tad frustrating, i can deal with long waiting especially living in the UK with our post,
but not knowing whats going on or where anything is on the planet or even if it exists & what day i need to have some here to sine for it is a bit much

Hard to tell what the problem is since
we don't know what country, continent
or planet you live on. Your Profile doesn't
seem to give a clue....:undecided:

do not worry, i have ordered at sanwu a few times.They will ship your order after 10 days, you order on 21/5, they will ship on 31/5 and you will receive after 7-15 days of shipping.Your order is shipped 1-2 days and if you have gmail. they will send the shipping code for you or You can contact them directly on their facebook page.Gook luck

haha yes this is true, i am based in the UK, i will get to sorting my profile to make it relevant soon

So got an Email in today after they told me via facebook the laser had been 'shipped' on the 29th of may, I quote "Your order will be dispatched tomorrow. We will send you a tracking number later"
Then today this email after waiting around for so long,
"The production of laser orders with stainless chassis was temporarily stopped last week since one of our machine is down hence we needed more time to prepare your laser, we will ship your order in next Monday if not within this week"
I know machines break & not everything go's to plan in assembly lines having run a few myself over the years.
But so far the communication & its content has been nothing short of crap & a little misleading, it would have been nice to know this when it happened & not be tild the device had shipped when it clearly had not.
I really hope this laser & beam expander is worth the wait.
Ive been having to wait in the last few days because ive not known whats going to turn up.
We live in a remote working farm location in the UK & have a crap postal service here that like to send parcels to a depot many miles away, that i can not get to unless i ask some to take me as i dont drive.
So this not knowing what is going on is particularly troublesome for me, thought i would keep you all updated on my experience as i know many in the UK are having troubles getting good lasers here.
The last one i purchased i had to ship in the the united states. :wtf:
 
Very frustrating I agree, and the whole delivery situation..
I can only say that's not usually how Sanwu does things, at least to what iv'e seen but iv'e yet to order anything from them.

I have just checked for you, your order has been scheduled to be dispatched next monday as mentioned in the email, I will see it if it's possible to get it shipped tomorrow.

OK thats great, i know machines break & things happen in course of manufacturing & those things cant be helped. Its the miscommunication & its resultant effect that was a bit annoying. Thanks for putting me in the know Podo

Hey Sanwu, the laser turned up in the UK at my place Yesterday (Friday 15th) It is exceptionally well made & very bright for red laser I have not seen such a high quality portable laser as this. Thank you for an excellent laser Sawu, a long wait but it was worth it.
I see why so many have recommended Sanwu lasers now. This is one of the finest lasers in my collection. Now i have seen the quality of your products i will buy again.
