I have just about the exact same green 501b big brother to this from Rich going on 3 years. Only green I bring out for pointing these days. It loves the cold weather..

Tring, I got a Christmas surprise 505nm Gift from Lifetime17:):) Rich could of clear powder coated the copper like the black coated AL host but I sprayed clear enamel on the sink and it's held up well, the pic show's going on 2 weeks;)

Hi Paul,
Hey life is really short and it passes us by in a blink. Enjoy your time with your Daughter it's a great time of the year and what we make of it.

Thanks for sharing a moment. its really cool buddy.

Hey Rich, I need a couple of adaptor plates for my new beam expander, I will drill and tap them myself but I don't have a lathe to turn down the pedestal, so I need a 1/2 inch long length of 2.5 inch wide round aluminum bar stock 1/2 inch long turned down to 30mm at 0.25 inch depth.

Here's a drawing, I could not get it to upload in a message for some reason. This will attach to 2.5 inch wide heat sinks that I drill for modules myself and/or a combined & corrected builds front plate, the adaptor plate will have 3 screw holes on the outer perimeter along with set screws adjacent to the attachment screw holes so I can adjust the angular alignment, but I will drill and tap myself, I just need the pedestal turned down.

Note: the 12mm hole is just for the beam to pass through, my module will be mounted in my heat sink that this adaptor plate will attach to, so no set screw needed and no need to rush.

Thanks

Hi LPF, FOR Sale.... 190.00 + shipping
Ok just finished a ML562G85/9mm/638nm/ G2lens/Twin Beam build. It has a massive AL sink with a CU core. I used a Black Buck 3 driver set to 2.4A, sinked with a large CU sink I did on the mill. It holds 2X32650's or 2X26650's The AL sink is over 300Grams my scale won't go any further so it weighs more than 300G. Wired with 22 AWG Sillycon wire Well here are some pics enjoy.

Wow, and has to be massive in hand!:) and awsome run time..
How does the focus work with the 2 beams??

Hi GSS,
With the G2 well not to bad but with a 3E or a 2E its a lot sharper. I haven't tried it with a BE yet Dont know if the lens will clip the beam.

Rich:)

Very nice looking build (y) it makes me think about ways to redirect the beams and what about 3 double diodes abreast, you would have a crosshatch pattern shooting forth.......Hmm
