I would powder coat the all aluminum 2 x 18650.
That blue unit would be nice with an optics shelf in the front with a threaded cover, lol. :)

Ah yes the Trustfire A8 host second to the right. I remember I introduced you to that host a bunch of years ago. Made some nice heatsinks for me. It's an amazing robust host for those wondering. It does a great job at heatsinking and isn't really that large once you hold it. Takes a 26650 battery. I would recommend them especially for higher power diode builds
 
Damn Rich you have some nice hosts. I really like the design of the 2x18650 and the choice of powder coating. Might order 3 in RGB for a trio of single mode pointers :)

What sized module should I order from DTR to suit these modules.

Hi,
They can hold a 12mm dtr copper module, for higher power the heat sink can be bored out to hold the dtr 25 & 35mm copper modules also.
I machine these copper inserts to compliment the AL heat sinks also with driver shelf .
