Hi LPF,
Here is what I call a 3 in 1 2X18650 host, It comes with 3 X heat sinks in different variations.
#1) Full Copper sink and a adapter
#2) Aluminum with a Copper core pressed in
#3) All Aluminum
The battery tube holds 2X18650's and has a 5A latching switch threaded in the tailcap.
The battery tube is finned for a secure grip
All heat sinks come with there own focus adapters .
Now you can set in 3 different WL diodes with one battery tube interchangeable.
All heat sinks will be prewired with 24 AWG Sillycone wire ready to drop in your DTR 12mm module of your choice.
All heat sinks are 1-1/4 diameter also the battery tube.

Hi,
Thank you Evans I wanted to do this type of host for a while. Just to busy with all the rest that life throws at us.
Actually its 3 hosts in 1 with interchangeable heat sinks for different WL's. 2X18650's . If I do another it will be 2X26650's .

Nice host, I have thought about interchangeable heads like that before, does each heat sink have it's own spring board ?

Hi Red,
Yes they will come with a prewired contact board with a brass ring and spring pressed in with 24 AWG sillycone wire. Ready to solder two wires with heat shrink and a 4-40 hex wrench for the 12mm module .

Just received my 3 in 1 host. Honestly it exceeded my expectations. Very well machined tube and heat sinks. Beautiful finish. I always appreciate excellent treading (I promise to be gentle with it Rich). Nice clicky switch. The compound, tubing, wrench and adapter were a nice bonus. For anyone considering a custom host I promise you won't be disappointed with this one. Thanks Rich.

My anodizing is specifically related to titanium knife scales, pens, and other titanium tools Rich. I don't anodized aluminum as it is a completely different process. If you'd like to see my anodized knives I would be happy to post some pics in the random pics thread. I've been wanting to try my hand at powder coating, but not on your 3 in 1 host. It looks too nice as is.

I was going to wait to finish some other projects before putting this thing together and playing with it, but I couldn't resist. Sorry not the best pic. I'll try to get some better ones this weekend. Went with a nugm03 @ 1.8A in the aluminum/copper heatsink.

Today for sale is a 2X 18350 Matte Black powder coated host. In the head is a huge copper core set back to accommodate an focus adapter or a Sanwu beam Expander . The diode is a NDG7475, SXD driver heat sinked to a driver bed inside the host. Has also a rear latching switch. Thanks For Looking..
