Do AixiZ modules use SAE or Metric threads?
Is it better to buy a lathe that has SAE or Metric?

Is it hard to work with SAE?

Which lathe is better quality?

OR

# Screw Threads:

   * Imperial: 12 - 52 TPI in 18 steps
   * Metric: 0.4 - 2.0mm in 10 steps

The lathe is capable of cutting many more threads just by changing the gears around.
There is even a program that help figure it out... for both standard AND metric  ;)
Check here:

More gears are available:

Sorry, but this lathe stuff is really confusing :-/
I read the Mini Lathe user guide, but there is a lot of stuff I still don't get...
BTW, can a lathe make threads on the inside of a tube or only on the outside?

You are referring to the lathe from ToolsNow, correct?
