I'll have to take a few minutes and go through their price list, looks really interesting. Thanks!

interesting that they seem to have 445 diodes rated at 50mW. could be a good pointer solution if true.

prices are hideous, except that they claim a 1W 532nm handheld for $4k

The 1W 532nm exists! Since list year.
Pricest aren´t low, of course. But they are selling high quality CNI stuff.
If there are enough interested people, I can do a GB a check the order personally at their office.

Prices are about as hideous as any other CNI reseller as far as pointers and portables, 100$ for a 5mW 405nm in a newwish style host makes me laugh out loud.

I've gotten ALL of my weird-ass LEDs from them. Even a laser diode in a standard epoxy LED casing (what?) and a visible 670nm VCSEL. And some ZnSe no-phospor (pure crystal) whites. And UV LEDs and... just all kinds of funky stuff.

Shipping usually cost more than the order so I wonder if I can have DJNY pick them up from now on :)

Wait, the price list is actually telling us that the 50mW 445nm laser diode in 5.6 mm packaging retails at , quote:
$4.420,18 ?

What is this, Sparta?! Hell, they had cheaper diodes in Sparta!

There are a handful of lasers with reasonable prices on the list, but the majority are "much" higher than what we expect to pay on LPF.

That's about 1/3rd the cost of a Hercules-800 from Laserglow.

@aryntha, mind providing a link to that visible VCSEL, I can't seem to find it :undecided:
