I just received my first high power laser. I purchased it from Blord here on the forum. First I must say that Blord is great to deal with. He answered my questions quickly and shipped my laser quickly once ordered. I can't believe I received the package in 4 days from Belgium to the USA, including the weekend! Thank you Blord for a great deal and prompt service!

I waited until I received the package before ordering the batteries, charger, and glasses. I figured it would've been my luck that if I ordered those right after purchasing the laser, the laser wouldn't make it to me via customs and then I would be stuck with nothing to use them with. So I am glad to say that I placed my order for those items within 1 hour of receiving my laser and they are on their way to me. Should be here in 2-3 days, so until then I can only review the hardware itself and post some pics.

This first photo is what I found inside the bubble envelope it was shipped in.

Upon opening the box, I was pleased to find the laser in excellent condition.

The blue color is amazing! It looks like this is a top quality build, the switch clicks perfectly, the focusing ring turns smoothly, and the end cap unscrews with a little resistance from the o-ring seal just as it should. The laser fits very nicely in the palm of your hand and has a nice weight to it. I can't wait to try it out! More to come....

I've got a bunch of these, every color but blue, ironically. very nice. I've decided to get some custom focus adapters from flaminpyro for all mine, complete with GITD inlays. focus adapters on these could help crop the "batwings" so many laser dots have. You should consider this too. It would also considerably increase the aesthetic appeal of the laser, though it would obstruct the copper Heat sink

the copper ones weigh considerably more than aluminum ones. these hosts are great, big enough that people take them seriously, yet pretty small compared to other hosts. If you ever decide to get more lasers of other wavelengths, you can get different colored hosts so you know which laser you are grabbing without turning them on.

Yep. I seen the array of colors these hosts come in. :)

Now imagine them with polished aluminum conical focus adapters with GITD inlays that also closely match wavelength. or compliment it, or random, whatever:D

Love the blue, four days delivery that's awesome .i dream of delivery times that fast, well done enjoy it when you have the googles ....+1

Wow, 4 days is really fast. It seems non-tracking shipment is faster than tracked.
Normally I use tracking for laser shipments but this was a $95 deal so I omitted the tracking. :p

Charger, batteries, and glasses have arrived. Already took some photos while a set of batteries are charging. Put in a second set as arrived to see if they had some juice in them. They did and I got to test the operation of the laser for a few moments. I am very suprised I could see the beam in the air while it is still light outside!

Stay tuned... pics and more details coming soon.

Ok here is the first round of pictures.

First is a shot of the accessories I was waiting for before using the laser for the first time -

Nice little review!
I order 1.1W Blue Survival Laser or 300mW Red today. Which one you recommend?
