Hi guys!

I'm sick of my family, they are smoking ALL THE DAY.
It's truly amazing, I don't even know how they can smell anything (well I really
wonder if they can). Not mentioning all the money they waste on those
diasease sicks, they smell HORRIBLE, believe me,
I didn't smoke even one time, and whenever I get into my house I think: Fuck
it smells like shit, and there they are, smoking, of course. It's great for lasers
and things but I seriously prefer health and my clothes smelling like clean clothing
not like bull crap. So I was wondering if someone has an idea on how to remove
the smell from the clothing, because it's really terrible, horrible, awful, there aren't
enough adjetives to describe it, afaik.

BTW, It is useless to tell them quit smoking son don't mention it. It's
useless to argue with them. I just want to smell good, not to argue with them.

Have a nice day!

You could ask them if they could only smoke in one room ??? Other than that, Febreeze might work :/

at tobacco shops there are products and sprays that help.

michael.

I saw a can of spray at a gas station. it smelt just as bad as the smoke!

I had smoked since i was 9 years old. Almost 17 years of smoking. I haven't had a cigarettes in 2 months and have been completely nicotine free for a month now.

....i like the smell of cigarette smoke though.....it's calls to me....

but i'll never start that nasty habit again......cause cancer is super gay

EDIT: yeah, and no idea on the covering the smell part.....make your family switch to E-cigarettes...they are odorless.

I'm a car detailer. I eliminate car smoke scent all the time using one of a few choices of products:

Sprays to cover the smell for a short time.

Deep carpet shampooing to remove particles in the carpet that contribute to the scent.

Or chemical treatments. Some of the best includes a solute which you in the car overnight, which allows the solute to react with water in a cup, creating a gas which flood the car during the night, treating microscopically impossible places to reach. These kinds of treatments are the most effective. I'll see if I can't get some products names for you tomorrow.

@Kookapeli: As I said, any kind of argue/arrangement is completely useless.

@Chip: thanks I'll look for what you said.

@Mohrenberg: OMG! 9yo old, that's sick! It's not only cancer. You just can't imagine all
the bullshit you're pushing inside you with the cigarette. All kind of cancer, of course,
but when you smoke you have a higher chance of getting ANY other disease. It also
inhibites your nose from smelling, and all kinds of odd stuff. Thanks for the tip, my
grandma wants a E-cigarette, but the rest of the family doesn't. btw I'm glad you quit.

@Meatball: Thanks, I'll be waiting for your response.

Rafa You can get the strong Febreeze the one for pet odors and spray your clothes and put them in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes to remove most of the smell. It works for Me after coming home from a bar with lots of smokers inside.

Thanks Coherent. I don't know if Febreeze can be bough here in Spain. But there are probably some other products for the same thing, so....

You can also try the spray for carpet odors. Just make sure the Dyer is on LOW heat or it can set the smell, and make it harder to remove without washing the clothes.

My second mythbusters reference of the day:
They sprayed clothing with vodka before putting them in the wash.

insert firecracker into cigarette. Or start riding a motorcycle everywhere, that should help.

Febreze is not bad but a Air ionisator will be much more helpful. I am a smoker ( i know how stupid i am ) and i pluged in two Air ionisator in my Living Room. They do a amazing good job. The Air is not smelling anymore. Buy a powerful device. Those USB ionisators are not enough powerful to help you.
- save electricity
- no chemistry
- no noise
- helping who suffers from allergies
- no filter to clean
- no extra costs

I heard about something a long time ago that you could put (a drop) on the base of a cigarette, it dries fast and makes you feel nauseous when you smoke the cigarette.
People do the things they do for a reason: I f you take away the reason (fulfilling the craving) and make it an unpleasant experience people will stop that behavior.
Don't know where to get it or if it is bad for your system but it is an idea.
Or you could guilt trip the hell out of them, ask them if they want to be alive to see you graduate/get married/hold their grandkids/ etc. ^_^
For now you can hang your clothes outside overnight (gf's tip)

Might want to tone down the swearing too, LPF mods might ban you for it ;)
