Based on what my customers tell me, the rayfoss or I should say qualifound as rayfoss was bought out. Is that their lasers are way overrated as far as output power, but their prices low, so you get what you pay for. Don't expect the 200mw to be more than 200mw and most will be well under that.So the rayfoss complete builds that are listed as 200mW...are they really 200mW give or take -15% or +15%.....if so 130 bucks for a water proof 200mW seems to good to pass...
I can vouch for their waterproofness. I have taken several rayfoss lasers down to 8-feet deep in my swimming pool at home. You just have to make sure the laser is tightened up all the way at the threads, the aperture is sealed, and the o-rings are in good shape. As for waterproof, I would't trust them any deeper than that of a sink or bath tub, but mayeb some else has more information about that. I would consider their claim of water-proof as meaning they could be used outdoors in the rain or to maybe a depth of 2-3 feet in a swimming pool.
