I picked up one of these tonight from Walgreens for $9.99
Plugged into the usb port of my laptop (on my wireless network) and installed the software.
Minutes later I was perusing a TON of movies to watch!
I hit the SciFi selection under Movies and a bunch of movie icons displayed that I could scroll thru.
Most would load and play beautifully...about 9 out of 10 so far came right up...the 10th said Not Available. Movies like Heavy Metal, The Arrival, Weird Science, etc played fine in great resolution. And the program explains options on how to connect to your tv for viewing.
Also has a mess of radio stations and TV shows available.
I have a 2.2Ghz Acer laptop with 3 gb ram Windows 7 64bit operating system
(software works on Mac 10.6 or higher, Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8)
You get 1 year service with purchase and can add 5 years for $9 per year or 1 additional year for $ (reading the package)
For $9.99 + tax... Try this...Works!
There IS a short commercial before the movie starts...but worth the wait...especially if traveling. May be limited commercials during movie...but Still pretty cool!
