I feel silly chiming in with this - but the guidesman I got from Moh still included the original 3xAAA holder - so if you're LOOKING for a 3xAAA host, the guidesman still remains a great option. (even if Moh doesn't always include the original 3xAAA holder, those things are universal)

For what it's worth, I actually love using this or the hotlights host with 3x 10440s (same size as AAA), because you can do a build with an inexpensive DIY LM317 driver

under normal circumstances, i never even open the tail cap, so the 3xAAA holder is always there.
