Hi
I am in the process of building my first build and I have a question about running a 9mm laser at 2.2A. According to a experiment performed by lazereer on the first thread of the 9mm lasers , he found that the lasers begin to dim out in the 2.2-2.3A region.
I was intending on running my laser at 2.1 A to be safe. But i would like to know from other users that have built their laser, if the laser's lifetime is significantly reduced to the point where the laser lasts a month before it dies?
I also would like to turn on my laser over a period of 4 minutes and was wondering if it would be fine to run it at 2.2A?( of course with heat sinking both the driver and the laser itself).
