Get us agps track witha gopro. You may want to get the external compass. Mine shifted 20 to 30 degrees from the correct headibg with full current to the motors. My compass now sits up next to my gps antenna.
Thats just your gps unless they have changed it the 3 axis magnetic compasd located on the arduino board is what shows your heading on your HUD. At least thats how mine works.
Gonna pick up a cheap but decent point and shoot that supports CHDK, then I can set up a remote control for the shutter on my transmitter and get nice pics.
I was looking into building one of these a while back but then realized how hard it would be How much was the Jaycar one? It looks similar to the AR Drone by Parrot...
EDIT: seen the price
Haha but behind a money pit is alot of hard work (for me at least) Would be an interesting project but I have so many others I simply have no time oh and I course... $$MONEY$$

I need to purchase a right angle USB connector so it's not so close to the props, I can't face it directly downwards without the cable hitting.
It's a Canon A4000IS which I've loaded CHDK onto, so I can trigger it remotely from my TX, it works awesome and doesn't even need any extra electronics!
Quite windy outside today so haven't had many chances to fly, camera was facing down in this shot and the focus wasn't locked, so it's a bit blurry. I've locked the focus to infinity with CHDK and now just waiting for the wind to die down. It can fly in this wind (30km/h) but it's definitely not stable
