This is what i purchased: www.rayfoss.com

I had a 30Mw[Fake] laser, which was barely 5mw before.

Do you think it's a good choice for a newbie?

Not the best first green laser you could have bought, but Rayfoss are reputable and that's a pretty good laser :)

You could also have bought from lazerer. They have certified power graph!

for $45 you could have got a 100mW 532nm. next time RESEARCH before you buy

I'm selling lasers with power certificate and accessories at very low prices compare to the chinese websites.

I will have a new stock next week. And another one the week after.

Yeah, but i want to start with something less dangerous than that.

Hahaha, well when it comes to 532nm, there really isnt a term called less dangerous especially when it comes to Chinese sellers. for all you know that laser can be doing 30mW of 1064nm and only 10-20mW of 532nm. that right there is 3x MORE dangerous than my 100mW 532nm because it only does 9-10mW 1064nm. plus anything over 5mW is dangerous, 1mW can ever be dangerous.

if you bought it from a place that gives you power certificates then you can say its less dangerous or not but without one, its like target shooting in a pitch black room. you dont know what you are getting
