Thanks guys/gals

I'm not sure about this specific sled, but PS3 diodes are usually low powers (20mW IIRC?), you'd be better off buying a PHR sled for 8$ The PHR diodes can go to 100mW, 120mW if you push them hard.

also If you use the sled like a white fusion, the PHR mirror has better perfomance supposedly.

O I would be switching all the diodes I was just talking about the sled being used for the combing of the 3

Thats what I mean, if you dig up I think Jayrobs 1st post about the White fusion he said that a PS3 sled and the optics from it were being used, but the mirror was more "lossy" then a mirror from a PHR sled, I think he was losing something like 30-50mW per color with the PS3 mirror VS 10-20mW loss from the PHR mirror.

What mw's are good for a descent kit?????

I mean I know the more power the brighter it will be but do you guys recommend anything. I can get low cost red and free ps3 Bluerays witch I think are 30wm....

Hey all posting on this thread again cuz i took the diode out of that sled. I am told it is from a PS3. Well it has to be thats were it came from. Anywayz... it only has one diode in it as you might be able to see. It has 4 pins.... I used search, and i really cant find a definitive answer to what it is???

IR?
IR/BR?
IR/RED?

Thanks you guys........and gals. :)

i'm to lazy to search, but search for diode compilation thread.

also the easiest way to make rgb would be to get the cheap dichros and mounts from olike, or a member who sells guts from the 445nm projector. and add your lasers. mount it all to the smallest base plate possible.

np. while it might not be the smallest route, once you hone your skillz you could make anything you wanted after.
